Nadine West is my current favorite fashion subscription box. If you want to know more about how it works, check out my previous post about it here.
Here’s what I got this month:
Alegra – $12.49
I really like the style of this top. I have a similar one I got from Abercrombie a year or two ago. This one has a really ugly pattern, though. I hate tie-dye and orange and yellow are not good colors for me. I’ve gotten one ugly yellow shirt from Nadine West before and I didn’t like the orange and white one I got last month because of the cut, so I’ve changed my style profile to say that I don’t want any more yellow or orange items.
Verdict: Sending it back.
Linen Days – $16.99
My mom was super excited about the fabric content of these pants. They’re 55% linen and 45% cotton. Natural fibers are great, but these pants are kind of itchy. They’re also super long on my, hence why I have them cuffed in the photos. I like the tie-waist closure, but they also have a hook and a button.
That’s way too many closures for one pair of pants and it makes them more difficult than necessary to get on and off. I had really high hopes for these pants, since they are cute, but they’ve disappointed me.
Verdict: Sending them back.
Heavy Metal – $11.99
I hate these earrings. I don’t like the shape of them and I just don’t think the hammered metal look is for me.
Verdict: Sending them back.
Jumping Dolphin – $19.99
This necklace is actually really cute. The only problem is that I hate dolphins. I think they’re scary and evil and can’t be trusted, so I would never wear one as a necklace.
Verdict: Sending them back.
I didn’t keep anything from this package, but I have kept things in the past. I like that I can try items that I wouldn’t normally pick for myself. I’ve ended up liking some things that I would never have chosen from off a rack.
